Easy Street Theatre Company Elite Section presents A Chorus Line at the Merlin Theatre, Sheffield on 1st and 2nd February 2025. A Chorus Line follows a group of dancers auditioning for a Broadway chorus line.  With songs like I Hope I Get it! and What I Did For Love, A Chorus Line explores themes of ambition, identity and resilience in the competitive world of the performing arts.  The show is both a celebration of the arts and a look at the often challenging lives of performers. 

Easy Street Theatre Company Senior Section Presents Legally Blonde: The Musical at the Merlin Theatre between 30th April and 3rd May 2025 (Please note there will not be a performance on Friday 2nd May)

Legally Blonde: The Musical follows the story of Elle Woods, a bubbly sorority girl whose life takes an unexpected turn when her boyfriend, Warner, breaks up with her to pursue a more "serious" partner at Harvard Law School.  Determined to win him back, Elle follows him to Harvard, where she faces the challenges of law school and struggles to fit in.  Despite being underestimated, Elle quickly proves she's smarter and more determined than anyone expected.  With the help of her friends and a newfound sense of self worth, she discovers her true potential as a lawyer.  The show, filled with catch songs like "Omigod You Guys" and "Bend and Snap" celebrates empowerment, self confidence and staying true to oneself.

Easy Street Theatre Company Junior Section presents Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr at the Merlin Theatre on Sunday 6th July.  Our Performances are at 11am and 2pm with our annual family picnic in the lovely grounds of the Merlin Theatre taking place during the break.

Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr is a lively stage adaptation of the popular DreamWorks animated film Madagascar.  It follows the adventures of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman the Giraffe.  When Marty dreams of exploring the wild, he sets off on an adventure leading the group on an unexpected adventure from the Central Park Zoo in New York to the island of Madagascar.  The show id filled with catchy songs, energetic dance numbers and comedic moments, emphasising friendship, freedom and fun!
